Welcome to the NumberOne Writing Suite (the “Suite”), a collection of desktop applications published by ZeroBlue Software (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Suite currently includes:

  • NumberOne Writer Pro (the “Writer Pro” app)
  • NumberOne Xporter (the “Xporter” helper app)

By installing, launching, or otherwise using any component of the Suite, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. License Grant

We grant you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of each application in the Suite on a single Windows device for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer any app in the Suite to any third party.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any app in the Suite.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on any App.
  • Use any App in a manner that infringes any person’s rights or violates applicable law.

3. Updates & Maintenance

From time to time, we may provide updates, patches, or upgrades to one or more apps in the Suite. You agree to promptly install such updates to maintain compatibility and security.

4. Payment & Refunds

You acknowledge that any paid applications in the Suite (e.g., Writer Pro) are purchased through the Microsoft Store. All payments and refund requests are subject to the Store’s policies. We do not process payments or refunds directly. Please refer to Microsoft Store support for refund procedures.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

Each app in the Suite is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether statutory, express, or implied.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ZeroBlue Software, its officers, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) any application in the Suite, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for claims arising out of these Terms or your use of the Suite shall not exceed the amount you paid for any paid component.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license for any App in the Suite immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall and cease all use of that App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State], USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Suite after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

ZeroBlue Software (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information our NumberOne Writing Suite and its applications collect, how we use and protect that information, and your rights.

1. Information Collection

  • No Personal Data Collected: None of the apps in the Suite collect or transmit personal information or usage data to our servers or third parties. All project files, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device (via Hive or local file system).
  • Local Storage: We use local storage mechanisms (Hive) solely to store user preferences (e.g., language, theme, backup locations) and project data.

2. Use of Information

Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, we do not use or share your information with third parties. All data remains on your device under your control.

3. Third‑Party Services

  • The Suite may integrate with the Microsoft Store for licensing and updates; however, no personal data is shared beyond what is strictly necessary for installation and purchase verification.
  • We do not include analytics, advertising, or other third‑party trackers in any app.

4. Data Security

We employ industry‑standard practices to safeguard your local data, but no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your project files and preferences.

5. Children’s Privacy
